CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR

The SURGMED Group of Companies (est.1993) is seeking a Contract Specialist for our direct Hospital sales, in Dorval, QC. We are looking for candidates that desire a long term career opportunity in a growing market. The ideal candidate will have bid/tender experience along with commitment to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Employment requirements:

  • Minimum College degree (DEC)
  • 2 years of related experience
  • Bilingual.  Superior competency in reading and writing in both French & English.
  • Comprehensive understanding of terms and conditions.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows based software programs (Excel especially)
  • Ability to manage a number of projects and initiatives simultaneously

 

Responsibilities will also include:

  • Search tender websites for bid opportunities
  • Coordinate all tender costing with the respective departments.
  • Maintain and develop all tender/contract activities within the companies.
  • Prepare tender submissions within the required deadlines
  • Follow-up on tender awards
  • Provide pricing information and terms & conditions of awarded contracts to Customer Care, Sales & Marketing.
  • Approve and process all carrier invoices.
  • Process all custom broker invoices.
  • Run all monthly/quarterly/annual sales reports for tender buying group commissions.
  • Cross-reference all Supplier Invoices received and post.
  • Maintain and implement all process and procedures (including forms and work instructions) related to the Contract/Tender Department.

 

Salary is commensurate with experience.
