Independent Sales Representatives – Western Canada and the United States
To help support our rapid growth, we are currently recruiting Independent Sales Representatives based in Alberta and at several locations in the United States.
The Independent Sales Representative will be responsible for:

Actively prospecting, qualifying and following up leads to acquire business from new accounts

Monitoring competitive activity

Account and territory development
-
Maintaining and growing strong relationships with customers

Providing feedback on product related opportunities and issues

Monthly reporting
Qualifications & Experience
-
5 years experience as an Independent Sales Representative in the Medical Device industry with a focus on one or more of the following specialties - Surgery, Endoscopy, Sterile Processing, Patient Handling, E.R./Ward, Neonatal & Women's Health

Strong communication and relationship building skills
-
Well organized, thorough and self-motivated

Experience in using CRM tools

Strong initiative, drive and persistence

Superior closing skills
Process Engineer
The Surgmed Group (www.surgmed.com) is a fast-growing medical device manufacturing and distribution organization with a global presence. We are currently recruiting a Process Engineer based at our office in Dorval to support the company’s ambitious growth plans.
The candidate’s duties will include, but not limited to:

Design and assist in the development of new and current products

Develop and implement production/assembly automation systems

Project management
-
Line Management
-
Analyze, develop and implement production efficiencies

Manage Production Team
-
Planning, organizing and establishing time management costing
The ideal candidate will essentially improve on some of our general production through time and motion studies. As well as capable of designing, building and implementing cost reduction automation while at the same time oversee and ensure our production objectives are being met.
Skills and Aptitudes:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Excellent design skills working with software (ie AutoCAD and/or Solidworks)

Programming Skills

Employee management skills

Six Sigma is an asset

Familiarity in working with a medical device manufacturing company
