Marketing Coordinator – Dorval, QC

 

To help support our rapid growth, we are currently recruiting a Marketing Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a marketing career covering the entire range of marketing activities for a wide range of products and markets in a fast-paced, competitive industry, working directly with the Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing.

 

Job Description

 

The Marketing Coordinator will support the Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing in managing:

 

  • Trade show participation (occasional outstation travel required within and outside Canada)
  • Graphic Design, Brochure and Flyer development
  • Development of Booth Material and Displays
  • Development of Product Videos
  • Web-site maintenance
  • Product sample shipments
  • Mailing campaigns, response tracking and follow-up with customers
  • Promotional activities
  • Social Media initiatives
  • New product launches
  • Customer Surveys
  • Support to field sales team
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

 

Hiring Requirements

 

Experience: 1-3 years in a similar role in a fast-paced customer oriented environment.

 

Skills and Aptitudes:

 

  • Graphic Design Skills; experience in using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience in brochure and flyer creation
  • Exposure to working with CRM tools (ACT/ Saleslogix/ Salesforce) and E-Marketing tools
  • Experience in creating short product videos
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; must be able to independently create copy for brochures and flyers; French language skills an asset
  • Experience in trade show management
  • Social media experience
  • Ability to rapidly absorb product and application knowledge
  • Excellent coordination and follow-up skills
  • Good customer interaction skills
  • Planning, organizing and time management skills

Sales Representative – South Western Ontario

 

 

The Sales Representative will be responsible for:

  • Actively prospecting, qualifying and following up leads to acquire business from new and existing accounts in the assigned territory involving extensive travel (80% of total time)
  • Meeting quarterly and annual targets for each product group
  • Monitoring competitive activity
  • Representing the company effectively at trade shows
  • Account and territory development
  • Maintaining and growing strong relationships with customers
  • Providing feedback on product related opportunities and issues
  • Monthly reporting

 

Qualifications & Experience

 

  • 2-3 years experience as a Business-to-Business Field Sales Representative with a good track record of meeting and exceeding targets
  • Excellent territory knowledge of South Western Ontario; candidates must be currently residing in the territory
  • Ability to travel extensively within the territory
  • Ability to rapidly pick up and apply product and application knowledge
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Well organized, thorough and self-motivated
  • Experience in using CRM tools (e.g. ACT, Saleslogix or Salesforce.com)
  • Strong initiative, drive and persistence
  • Superior closing skills

Independent Sales Representative – Alberta and Western Provinces

To help support our rapid growth, we are currently recruiting for an Independent Sales Representative to cover Alberta and Western provinces, based in Edmonton/Calgary.

 The Sales Representative will be responsible for:

  • Actively prospecting, qualifying and following up leads to acquire business from new and existing accounts in the western provinces
  • Meeting quarterly and annual targets for each product group
  • Monitoring competitive activity
  • Representing the company effectively at trade shows
  • Account and territory development
  • Maintaining and growing strong relationships with customers
  • Providing feedback on product related opportunities and issues
  • Monthly reporting

 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • 5 years experience as a Sales Representative in the Medical Device industry with a good  track record of meeting and exceeding targets
  • Infection Control/O.R./SPD/Endoscopy/NICU experience
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills 
  • Strong network of contacts
  • Well organized, thorough and self-motivated
  • Strong initiative, drive and persistence
  • Superior closing skills
