Supply Chain Coordinator

Surgmed Group is looking for a dedicated and organized Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. This role will report to the Supply Chain Manager by managing purchasing activities for Advanced Surgi-Pharm Inc. and Batrik Medical Manufacturing Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and efficient procurement of raw materials, finished goods, and additional materials as required by the company.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Perform purchasing activities for raw materials, finished goods, and any other materials.
  • Manage purchasing schedules to meet order/stock keeping minimums.
  • Maintain monthly inventory and ensure stock levels are adequate.
  • Run requisition lines and place purchase orders with approved vendors in a timely manner.
  • Run purchase advice reports and place purchase orders accordingly.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products from vendors.
  • Maintain accurate order tracking and communicate schedules to involved departments.
  • Ensure documentation related to shipments, orders, inventory, vendors, and compliance is precise and up-to-date.
  • Coordinate transportation from vendors and communicate delivery schedules to internal departments.
  • Negotiate pricing and obtain freight quotes from approved carriers.
  • Support inventory planning and operational decisions with detailed customer forecasts and reports.
  • Source and evaluate new vendors to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Advise on cost increases and maintain Bill of Material cost sheets.
  • Input and update product information (SKUs, pricing, etc.) into the ERP system.
  • Post receipts, invoices, and purchase credit memos.
  • Assist the Production Supervisor with purchasing/inventory controls and quality issues.
  • Monitor and manage non-conformities for returned products.
  • Communicate inventory issues promptly to the Supply Chain Manager.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • French/English written and spoken
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Purchasing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel & Outlook) is mandatory
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), inventory management and costing for manufactured product.
